Vintage stools headed to the cabin

Opening day at Rescue Rehab's summer home at the Farmer's Market is less than 2 weeks away!  That means that every day I am sorting, cleaning, painting, pricing and building!  The cabin has a new look and when it is ready I will post pictures.  It looks much more like a small store now and it should be packed full.  These little stools will be there and ready for a new home.  The small one had sweet vintage graphics, but they were too faded so cleaning, sanding and painting were in order.  The larger stool looks like it was hand made, and is put together with pegs at each side.  It was cleaned, sanded and waxed to give it a smooth finish.  The similarities in color are totally coincidental.  I look out for stools when I am hunting for treasures because they are so useful and I almost never come across them.

  1. I love finding stools at garage and yard sales and then upcycling them with chalk paint. I would love to keep them all but sadly I can't!! I have similar ones to your picture....keeping the larger one!
