Lantern Re-Do

I've always loved the look of repurposed lanterns.  I hate to repurpose them when they are still usable, though....so many people here still use them.  When I found that this one had some small holes in it, I sure wasn't sad, knowing that it could be made into a pretty decor item.  I cleaned and sanded it, then painted it with white dry brushing over blue.  I had this really pretty single drawer knob and it fit in the hole where someone had stuck a wine cork!  E-6000 glue has it held firmly in place.  This is not one of the more desirable brands of lanterns, so I am happy I could give it a new life.  This will be at the cabin tomorrow filled with silk flowers, I just have to decide what color....maybe red, white and blue???  I will try to update with a picture after I put the flowers in it.
